I’m not saying the generational planets do not matter because they do, but you want to start with your luminaries and then your other personal planets when looking at synastry. I always say check how your personal planets are aspecting each other first and foremost, especially your sun & moon, as those vary significantly from person to person. If someone’s Pluto is squaring your Venus at a 9 degree orb, you are less likely to feel those effects, than if they were squaring your Venus at a 3 degree or less orb. I think I’ve said this before, but in synastry the outer planets (Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus) are important but remember these are generational planets, so the orbs really do matter. However, I’m not saying that both people can’t feel it, because In most cases they do, I’m just saying the more Plutonian person will feel it more as they are predisposed to this kind of energy. Whereas, someone who is Saturnian may at times feel uncomfortable or maybe even a little bit afraid of the intensity that comes with 8H synastry. Let’s say you have significant Scorpio/8H/Pluto aspecting your personal planets (Venus conjunct Pluto) in your chart, you will most likely be enamored by the person you have 8H synastry with. Interestingly, I’ve noticed the person who is more ‘Plutonian’ tends to feel it more. 8H Mars & Venus synastry usually produces quite a strong sexual attraction between two people. Especially if the planet is Venus, or the Moon. However, it can create an intense attachment between two people. It really can be deeply intimate and transforming if the energies are handled well. Please leave a comment if you’ve had this aspect with someone! I would love to hear your experiences.ĨH synastry isn’t always this scary and toxic overlay. I honestly have never experienced this conjunction personally, and I’ve never read a synastry chart where two people have this conjunction. Some astrologers argue that the Psyche-Eros conjunction is a ‘soulmate’ indicator. Juno aspects often create strong attachments! I’ve seen this happen many times. The way in which they communicate represents the way in which you would like your potential marriage partner to communicate. For example, let’s say your Juno is making a conjunction to another persons mercury. The planet person will represent the Juno persons ideal in many ways. Especially when they involve the ascendant, or other personal planets. Juno aspects in synastry are so underrated. The moon person often finds the 12H person intriguing, and maybe even a little but elusive and mysterious. On the bright side, I’ve seen the house person (12H)be very comfortable with revealing all of their personal struggles/insecurities with the moon person. You often feel as if they can ‘read your mind’ or sense all of your emotional vulnerabilities. This is especially true if it’s involving the moon. You can feel very vulnerable and exposed in the presence of someone who you have 12th House synastry with. I’ve seen Venus trine Saturn, or Sun trine Saturn in synastry produce long-term relationships. However, trines and sextiles to Saturn often favor longevity in relationships. Especially the easy aspects! The hard aspects are a little more difficult to navigate. Saturn is so necessary for longevity in relationships. You both seem to just “get” each other, and you don’t have to overly explain your personality to the other person, as they are likely very similar to you in many ways. When your sun falls into another persons 1st house, there is a natural resonance and compatibility that exists between you two.
